Danny Mulligan - Founder/CEO

As the CEO and co-founder of MultiXtor, Danny focuses on setting the strategic direction of the firm and assembling the resources and expertise necessary to execute the company's business plan. Before MultiXtor, he held several executive roles at SigmaTel from building the MP3 product line into a nearly $100M revenue per quarter division to managing SigmaTel's production and operations.

In a career spanning over 20 years, Danny has also held engineering and management roles at Conexant Systems, Texas Instruments, and Silicon & Software Systems. Danny has a BSEE from the University of Limerick and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Eric Deal - Founder/VP Hardware Engineering

Eric leads the development of MultiXtor's hardware platform, overseeing everything from system architecture to logic design/verification and board layout. He has extensive experience in SOC chip architecture, interconnect structures, I/O interfaces, encryption, and error correction.

Eric has over 15 years of experience in ASIC and SOC designs at SigmaTel, Conexant Systems, and IBM and has a BSEE from Texas A&M University.

Gray Abbott - Founder/VP Software Engineering

Gray is in charge of development of embedded and systems software for MultiXtor products. Previously, he was part of the core team of firmware developers for SigmaTel's SOCs for portable media players, where he designed the flash controller firmware and made many other contributions to software and chip development.

Gray has over 30 years of experience in software design, development, and project management, in areas including SOCs, realtime systems, digital signal processing, shock and vibration, test and measurement, networking, AI, numerical algorithms, and biophysical modeling. He has worked at Stereolink, Creare, and Teledyne Acoustic Research (AR), as well as his private consulting firm, Sofgry Systems. He studied physics and psychology at MIT.
